You’ve all heard of the Freshman Fifteen. Many of you know firsthand that such a thing exists. Being in college is no easy task, and the stress of student life, along with unhealthy eating habits, can make you suffer from the “first year fatties” as the British would put it. What’s more, many students don’t even realize how bad their eating habits have become. They are unaware of the number of calories they mindlessly consume as they munch away while sitting in front of a computer for hours a day working on homework or online courses.
Here is a list of 5 common college foods, not including fast food since that’s already a given, that you would be wise to avoid if you don’t want to die of a heart attack by the age of 50.
