If you are looking for an easy breakfast to make, consider a batch of muffins. While you’ll need to pre-make these – it is hard to make them the morning you want breakfast – once you have a batch of muffins they are quick and easy for your family to just “grab and go.”

Muffins are delicious and healthy. A popular favorite is the bran muffin. But you can easily add so many other things to your muffin recipe to make it unique. Try adding applesauce or shredded carrot for more fiber and a sweetened taste. Or add some walnuts or sunflower seeds for a little crunch to your muffins. Or add some raisins or dried fruit for something succulent and sweet that everyone will enjoy.

The best thing about muffins is they are a great way to enjoy a healthy breakfast that is very portable. You can grab a muffin and run to work or school or wherever you need to be. As a cook, muffins are ideal because you can add so many different things to them.
