Everyone Loves Pumpkin Pie!

What would Thanksgiving be without pumpkin pie? Fortunately, pumpkin pie is fairly easy to make. Most beginning cooks find that they can confidently make pumpkin pie with little difficulty.

To make your pumpkin pie making all the easier, start with a pre-made piecrust. This will save you time. Piecrust is not hard to make but often takes an additional half an hour to make. Starting with a pre-made piecrust can save you a great deal of time in preparation and cooking. Making pumpkin pie out of canned pumpkin is also a great way to save time in baking pumpkin pie. You won’t have to puree the pumpkin for the pumpkin pie, saving yourself an additional step.

Cooks will often argue over exactly which spices should go into a pumpkin pie. The combination of spices is what most often creates the magic. A little nutmeg, clove and cinnamon is most often used to make a great pumpkin pie.
