Fresh Red Salsa Recipe

This salsa recipe is best with freshly picked jalapeno peppers. Perfect dip for corn chips, potato skins, vegetable wedges.

Ingredients

  • 2 C Fresh Tomatoes; Diced
  • 1 1/2 t Garlic, Minced
  • 1/4 t Oregano, Dried
  • 1 T Jalapeno Pepper, Coarsely Chopped
  • 1/4 C Onion, Coarsely Chopped
  • 1/8 t Salt
  • 3/4 t Lime Juice
  • 1 T Fresh Cilantro, Chopped

Directions

  1. Combing the tomatoes and onion, taking care to blend well
  2. Add remaining ingredients and stir thoroughly
  3. Refrigerate for about 1 hour before serving
  4. May be served at room temperature or chilled
