Chick Pea Dip Recipe

This dip recipe provids about 4 1/2 cup. Great for dipping wheat thins, pita bread, or pita chips.

Ingredients

  • 6 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 c Olive Oil
  • 3 c Chick-Peas; Cooked
  • 1/4 ts Black Pepper
  • 1/2 c Lemon Juice

Directions

  1. Place the garlic, pepper, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt in a food processor or blender and puree until the garlic is finely chopped (if preparing by hand, finely dice and mash the garlic, then mix with the other ingredients)
  2. Add the chick-peas and continue mixing to a smooth paste
  3. Garnish with the chopped parsley
  4. Maybe served at room temperature or chilled
