Caraway Burgers Recipe

A little different taste on this hamburger recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1 ts Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 c Beer; Any Brand
  • 1/2 c Onion; Finely Chopped, 1 Md.
  • 1 ts Caraway Seed
  • 1/4 ts Pepper

Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together except the beer
  2. Shape mixture into 6 patties, each about 1-inch thick
  3. Place the patties in an ungreased baking dish, 10 X 6 X 1 3/4-inches
  4. Pour the beer over the patties, then cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours
  5. (Meat may turn gray, but is ok) Remove patties from the marinade
  6. Broil or grill the patties 4 inches from the heat, turning once, to the desired doneness, about 15 to 20 minutes.
