Basic Meatballs Recipe

This meatball recipe is as simple as it gets. We like to make up a double batch and freeze them so that we always have meatballs around for pasta dishes. The kids love them

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/4 c Onion; Chopped, 1 Sm.
  • 1/4 c Milk
  • 1/8 ts Pepper
  • 1 ea Egg; Large
  • 1/3 c Bread Crumbs; Dry
  • 3/4 ts Salt
  • 1 ts Worcestershire Sauce

Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together
  2. Shape mixture by Tablespoonfuls into 1 1/2-inch balls
  3. Place the meatballs in a lightly greased baking pan 13x9x2 or 15 1/2x9 1/2x1.
  4. Bake uncovered at 400F until light brown, about 20 minutes
  5. Drain off the excess fat.
