Spooned-Up Meat Loaf Recipe
This is not your typical meat loaf recipe. In fact, it is basically a skillet of hamburger. However, once you try it, I think it will become a regular substitute for normal meatloaf.

Ingredients
- 2 lb Lean Ground Beef
- 1/2 c Oats; Quick Cooking
- 1/2 c Dairy Sour Cream
- 1/4 c Parmesan Cheese; Grated
- 1 1/2 oz Onion Soup Mix; 1 pk
- 1/2 c Water
- 2 Large Eggs, Beaten
Directions
- Cook and stir the meat in a large skillet until the meat is brown
- Drain off the excess fat
- Stir in the soup mix, oats and water
- Cover and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally
- Stir in the sour cream and eggs
- Spread the mixture evenly in the skillet then sprinkle the cheese over the top
- Cover and simmer until set, about 5 minutes
- Serve with catsup, if desired.
