Fettuccine Alfredo Recipe

Fresh fettuccine alfredo with heavy cream is divine. This is a very simple pasta recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 tb Butter
  • 1/2 c Heavy cream
  • 6 tb Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz Fettuccine

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over a low heat
  2. Add cream and grated parmesan
  3. Heat the sauce thoroughly and melt the cheese, being careful not to boil
  4. Stir salt and pepper as desired
  5. Cook the fettuccine per instructions on box in plenty of boiling salted water, drain well
  6. Combine the noodles and the sauce and leave to stand covered for two minutes before serving.
