Green Chile Sauce Recipe

A very simple chile sauce recipe. Perfect for dipping chips, both corn and potato

Ingredients

  • 2 tb Oil or lard
  • 1/2 c Minced onion (optional)
  • 1 c Water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Clove garlic (optional)
  • 1 tb Flour
  • 1 c Diced green chili

Directions

  1. In oil in a heavy saucepan, saute garlic and onion
  2. Blend in flour with wooden spoon
  3. Add water and green chili
  4. Bring to a boil and simmer, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes.
