The Berry Best Smoothie Recipe

I modeled this smoothie after a favorite of mine from a famous smoothie chain. It is just as berry-licious, costs less and even has less calories. You will not be disappointed!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2-3 small scoops of fruit-flavored sherbert (orange and raspberry are my favorites)
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries, semi-thawed (I use a blend of strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries)
  • 1 tsp. sugar or artificial sweetener (optional)
  • 3-5 ice cubes, crushed

Directions

  1. Place ingredients in blender in the order listed (starting with orange juice).
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Makes one 16 oz. smoothie.
