Tomato Rosemary Sauce Recipe

Easy to make tomato sauce goes perfect over chick or fish

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C white wine
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1/2 C diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 t sugar
  • 1 t fresh rosemary
  • 1/2 C heavy cream
  • 1 T sliced green onions

Directions

  1. Heat a medium sized skillet over medium heat
  2. Add white wine and bring to a boil, simmer until reduced (5 minutes or so)
  3. Add broth, diced tomatoes, sugar, and rosemary; bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes.
  4. Add in heavy cream and bring to a boil.
  5. Simmer until reduced to your desired thickness (5 to 10 minutes)
  6. Serve over your favorite entree
