Rice Apple Almond Pilaf Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oleo
- 1/4 cup lightly chopped almonds
- 2 prunes, chopped
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 4 slices dried apples chopped
- 1 1/2 cupw water
- 1/2 cup rice
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions
- Toast almonds in oleo, add prunes, raisins and apple. Cook one minute.
- Add rice, water, honey and salt, stir to mix
- Cover and cook slowly about 20 minutes or until rice is done and water is absorbed.
