Creamed Chicken on Toast Recipe
Wow... a simple creamed chicken recipe submitted by a user. Must try it with the cayenne pepper to satisfy my need for heat.

Ingredients
- 1 lg can chicken in water
- 3 T butter
- 3 T flour
- 1 cup milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- dash of cayenne pepper (optional)
Directions
- Melt the butter in sauce pan and add flour to make a roux. Cook for just a minute to take away the flour taste. Add milk and wisk until smooth. Boil over medium heat until the mixture thickens. If it is too thick add a little more milk. Stir in can of chicken add salt and pepper and cayenne if desired. Cook just until the chicken is warmed. Serve over toast chunks.
