Cheesy Stuffed Peppers Recipe

Very filling hamburger and cheese recipe. Easy to make, and as long as you like green peppers this is a good tasting recipe.

Ingredients

  • 6 medium green peppers
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 2 1/2 cups chopped tomatoes
  • 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Cut tops from peppers and remove seeds. Place in a saucepan and cover with water; bring to a boil and cook for 6-8 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, brown beef, onion and salt in a skillet over medium heat; drain. Cool slightly; add tomatoes and cheese.
  3. Drain peppers and stuff with meat mixture. Place in an ungreased baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  4. Serves 6
