Tuna okonomiyaki Recipe
This is the homemade version of one of Japan's favorite snack recipes

Ingredients
- 1/2 head of Cabbage
- 1 can of tuna
- 1 egg
- Katsu boshi
- Cornstarch / Flour / Okonomiyaki powder
- Okonomiyaki sauce
- Mayonnaise (preferably Japanese mayonnaise)
- Pepper
- Salt
Directions
- Slice the cabbage into small shreds.
- Wash and put aside.
- Then, beat the egg together with the cornstarch / flour / okonomiyaki powder.
- Make sure that you put enough of cornstarch / flour / okonomiyaki powder to be able to hold the cabbage shreds together. Put a little salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix one can of tuna and the shredded cabbage to the egg mixture.
- Put small amounts of the shredded cabbage in the pan and form it into small circles to look like pancakes.
- Make sure that you will be able to turn it properly.
- If the shredded cabbage does not hold firm, you may need to add more cornstarch / flour / okonomiyaki powder to the mixture.
- Remove from the pan when the cabbage turns slightly brown.
- Put okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise and katsu boshi.
- Serve while hot!
