Corn ala creme soup Recipe

This is a nice cramy soup that's perfect on a rainy day. source: philposters

Ingredients

  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 4 to 5 cups of chicken stock
  • Half to a dozen of shelled hard-boiled eggs
  • 1/4 cup of fresh milk
  • 1/4 cup of cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 to 1/4 tsp of pepper (optional)
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients except hard boiled egg pieces) in a medium pot, and cook over medium heat. Stir continuously to avoid lumps. Bring to a boil
  2. Slowly add hard boiled egg pieces, stirring until combined well and slightly boiling again.
  3. Serve hot, makes 5 to 7 servings.
