Dosa Recipe

A most basic dosa recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup of rice flour.
  • 1 1/2 cups plain flour.
  • chile powder(optional)
  • two table spoons plain yogurt
  • One table spoon ghee - melted

Directions

  1. Mix the rice flour with the plain flour. Add chile, yogurt, ghee and enough water to make a thick batter. Cover and stand atleast 8 hrs or over night, at room temperature.
  2. Spread heaped table spoons of mixture thinly into a greased frying pan, cook over medium heat until lightly browned, remove. Repeat with reamining mixture.
