White & Wild Rice Pilaf Recipe
A quick and easy rice dish. Turn this dish into a fine entree and add a little extra flavor by adding some cubed chicken.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup uncooked wild rice
- 2 cans (14 oz each) vegetable broth
- 1 cup uncooked regular long grain white rice
- 2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
Directions
- Heat oil in a large non stick skillet. Add onion, carrots, celery and garlic, cook until tender.
- Add wild rice and broth. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 25 minutes. Add white rice. Cover and cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done. Stir in parsley.
