Jicama Chili Dust Recipe

Jícama is sweet and starchy and has a crisp texture similar to a raw potato or pear. This exotic recipe is sure to impress your friends

Ingredients

  • Juice of 1 Mexican lime
  • 1/4 to 1/2 pound jicama, peeled and cut into sticks
  • 4 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons salt

Directions

  1. Squeeze lime juice over ice cold jicama sticks just before serving. Mix chile powder and salt and serve in a small bowl for dipping with sticks.
  2. Makes about 1/4 cup dust.
