Nachos Dip Bread Bowl Recipe
Your guests will never expect a nacho dip in a bread bowl, but they will surely eat it up!
- Meal Type: Dips
- Ethnicity: American
- Holiday Category: N/A
- Preparation Time: Over 1 hour, less than 1 day
Ingredients
- 1 (15 ounce) loaf round sour dough
- 1 (15 ounce) can refried beans or 1/2 pound hamburger
- Taco seasoning for meat
- 1/2 small bottle taco sauce
- 1 cup grated cheese (any kind)
- 1 small carton sour cream
- 1 container refrigerated avocado dip
- 1 small can black olives, chopped
Directions
- Slice top off bread and set top aside. Scoop out most of inside, but leave enough so that the "shell" is stable. Layer the following in the hollowed-out bread: beans/hamburger, taco sauce and cheese. Replace top of bread. Wrap in foil. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Unwrap to check if cheese is melted. If not, return it to the oven without the bread lid.
- After it is baked, layer guacamole, sour cream and olives over the top. Serve with remaining bread cubes (toasted) and tortilla chips.
