Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground meat
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 (8 ounce) ctn. sour cream
  • Ground cinnamon, to taste
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 (10 ounce) cans flaky refrigerator biscuits
  • Oil (for deep fat frying)

  2. Pull apart each flaky biscuit to make two. Roll each one out on a floured board. Place a heaping teaspoon of cold filling on each biscuit round. Fold over and crimp edges to seal. Place on tray in freezer. When frozen, take out and drop in hot oil to fry. Drain and serve or return to freezer. Will freeze up to 3 months.
