Baked Scallops Recipe

Lightly battered baked scallop recipe. Scallops are a family favorite, and this is a simple yet tasty recipe for scallops

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. scallops
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • Bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Mix dry ingredients together.
  2. Beat egg and milk together.
  3. Dip scallops in crumb mixture, egg mixture, and again in crumbs.
  4. Place dipped scallops in roasting pan and drizzle melted margarine over all.
  5. Bake at 450 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
