Recipe for Jerk Paste

Ingredients

  • 3 green onions
  • 2 teaspoons allspice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, fresh
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, diced
  • 1 habanero chile
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Directions

  1. Put everything except oil in food processor and chop fine. Add oil slowly until smooth.
  2. Coat meat and let sit for several hours or overnight.
