Fresh Mint Iced Tea Recipe

This is a great tea to serve after a meal since mint is a good breath freshener.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 7 tea bags
  • 3 to 6 sprigs of mint
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Remove from the heat and drop in the tea bags and mint sprigs. Allow to steep 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags and mint sprigs. Stir in the sugar and lemonade. Chill again or serve over ice cubes.
  2. Makes about 3 cups; 1 cup per serving.
