Sour Cream Biscuits Recipe

Sour cream gives these biscuits a nice flavor and texture.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoons water

Directions

  1. Mix together flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Add sour cream and mix to a soft dough. Add additional water if necessary. With well floured hands shape dough into round biscuit shapes. Bake in a preheated 450 degree F oven for 12 minutes.
