Cream Cheese Muffin Puffs Recipe

Cream cheese muffin puffs recipe for easy preparation.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 cup margarine, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (10 ounce) tube refrigerated biscuits
  • 12 ounces cream cheese, cubed

Directions

  1. Combine sugar, cinnamon and almond extract.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine margarine and vanilla extract. Press biscuits into 3-inch circles. Dip cream cheese cube in margarine mixture, then in sugar mixture. Place a cube in the center of each biscuit. Fold dough over cheese; seal well. Dip each filled biscuit into margarine mixture, then in sugar mixture. place seam side down in ungreased muffin pan. Bake at 375 degrees F for 12 to 18 minutes.
  3. Serve warm.
  4. Makes 10 to 12.
