Cinnamon Muffins Recipe

These Cinnamon Muffins are light and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soft butter or margarine
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Soften butter and sugar together in microwave. Beat in eggs. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and allspice, and stir gently into wet mix, alternating with the milk.
  3. Pour into greased muffin pans (never fill more than 1/2-1/3 full) Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until wooden pick comes out dry. Cool before removing from pan.
  4. Makes 15-16 muffins.
