Chive Muffins Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup dried chives
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
Directions
- Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; make a well in center of mixture.
- Combine egg, milk and butter; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Spoon batter into greased muffin pans, filling about two-thirds full. Bake at 400 degrees F for 18 to 20 minutes or until muffins are lightly browned.
- Remove muffins from pans immediately.
- Yields 1 dozen.
