Baked Seafood Bisque Recipe
Make this recipe with a mixture of crab meat and scallops and you will want to keep on making it. One of our favorite seafood recipes!
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 qt. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 3 c. grated cheese
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. cooking sherry
- 18 to 24 oz. frozen seafood
Directions
- Make white sauce from butter, flour, milk and seasonings.
- When thickened, add cheese and sherry.
- Combine with thawed seafood.
- At this point, it may be refrigerated or frozen.
- Put in individual oven proof dishes. Top with remaining cheese and crumbs.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 10 to 20 minutes until brown and bubbly. Serves 4 to 6.
