Baked Seafood Bisque Recipe

Make this recipe with a mixture of crab meat and scallops and you will want to keep on making it. One of our favorite seafood recipes!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 3 c. grated cheese
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. cooking sherry
  • 18 to 24 oz. frozen seafood

Directions

  1. Make white sauce from butter, flour, milk and seasonings.
  2. When thickened, add cheese and sherry.
  3. Combine with thawed seafood.
  4. At this point, it may be refrigerated or frozen.
  5. Put in individual oven proof dishes. Top with remaining cheese and crumbs.
  6. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 to 20 minutes until brown and bubbly. Serves 4 to 6.
