Mango Chutney Cheese Ball Recipe

You will be addicted after the first bite. If you want to spend the extra time you could roll this mixture into little balls then top it on to the ritz cracker add a teaspoon of the chutney and a few bacon bits and you have individual appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1/2 cup blanched slivered almonds
  • 1 bunch green onions chopped
  • 1 3 oz bag real bacon bits
  • 1 jar Major Grey's Mango Chutney
  • Ritz crackers

Directions

  1. Mix cheese, chopped green onion, almonds and mayo. Start by putting half the mayo and then continue until it is enough to make the mixture stick together. Form into a ball or any shape you like. Wrap in plastic and chill in fridge for about an hour or up to a day or 2. When ready to serve poor the chutney over the cheese ball and then top with the bacon bits. Serve with ritz crackers.
