Almond Bark Coated Popcorn Recipe

Melted vanilla bark coating microwave popcorn, giving it a sweet powdered sugar taste!

Ingredients

  • *Medium size microwavable bowl *Large Paper Grocery bag
  • *1/2 pkg.White Almond Bark
  • *3 Reg. size Individual Bags-Microwave popcorn
  • *Butter flavored coating spray
  • ***Optional-candy sprinkles, chopped nuts, peanuts, chocolate chips or M&M's.
  • * Individual snack/treat bags 8-10 servings

Directions

  1. Pop 3 regular size bags of microwave popcorn, one at a time and spray the inside of the large (grocery size) paper bag with butter flavored coating spray.
  2. Pick out and throw away all the popcorn seeds that didn't pop. Pour the popped popcorn into the bag. Then in a medium size bowl, melt three peices of the white almond bark in the microwave. Immediately pour over the popped popcorn, fold the bag over and shake until well coating the popcorn. Then tear open the paper bag and let dry or you can fan it to make it dry faster.
  3. ***Optional***After pouring the Almond Bark onto popped popcorn, you can also add candy sprinkles, chopped nuts, etc.
  4. When popcorn is cool and dry,grab by handfuls and put in individual bags for treats/snacks for your friends, family or children's party treats and tie top of bag with ribbon.
