Fresh Tomato Crab Soup Recipe
You can make this with canned tomatos but diced fresh Hanover tomatos take this crab soup recipe to a entire different level.
Ingredients
- 2 T olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 Can condensed tomato soup
- 2 large fresh tomatos, diced
- 1 Can lump crabmeat (approx 6 oz)
- 1 Pint half-and-half
Directions
- In a large saucepan, saute garlic and onion until softened
- Stir in diced tomatos, can of tomato soup, and lump crabmeat and heat thoroughly over medium heat.
- Once heated, gently stir in half and half, then warm until it just starts to bubble.
- Serve with oyster crackers or saltine type cracker.
