Salsa Skillet Chicken Recipe
A whole jar of salsa can seem a little overwhelming, but you would be surprised at how the salsa does not really overtake the flavor. It really is a quick and easy entree for the family
Ingredients
- 1 T Extra virgin olive oil
- 6 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 jar of your favorite salsa (16 oz)
- 6 cups prepared white rice
Directions
- Brown chicken breasts over skillet in olive oil (roughly 10 minutes)
- Add jar of salsa to the skillet and bring to a slight boil (do not overcook). Continue to heat mixture until chicken is cooked completely
- Serve of a bed of rice
- Note: You can use spicier salsa or picante sauce, but don't overdue the spiciness.
