Cookies For A Crowd Recipe

Easy to make huge cookie batch!

Recipe Ingredients

• 4 cups shortening
• 4 cups packed brown sugar
• 4 cups sugar
• 8 eggs
• 4 cups peanut butter
• 4 t. vanilla extract
• 10 cups all-purpose flour
• 4 t. baking soda
• 4 t. salt
• 1 cup salted peanuts, optional

Directions

1. Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs, peanut butter and vanilla; mix well. Add the flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in peanuts if desired. Drop by rounded teaspoons 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Flatten with a fork if desired. Bake at 350 F. for 10-12 minutes or until set.
2. Makes about 20 dozen.
