Hummus Recipe

Such a simple dip to make. Hummus is great to have around the house as a snack . You can dip any type of cracker in hummus, but I prefer a wheat thin type cracker.

Ingredients

  • 31 oz (2 cans) Chick Peas drained, but reserve liquid
  • 6 tb Tahini
  • 1/3 c Lemon Juice (or to taste)
  • 3 Large Cloves Garlic (peeled and pressed)
  • Dash Salt
  • Dash Fresh Ground Pepper

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in blender or food processor.
  2. Blend to a smooth, creamy paste.
  3. Taste and add more lemon juice, garlic or salt to suit your taste.
  4. It should be the creamy consistency of mashed potatoes.
  5. Thin with reserved chick pea liquid if necessary.
