Crab Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

I've seen stuffed mushrooms with sausage before, but this was the first recipe I used for stuffing mushrooms with crab meat.

Ingredients

  • 1 c Crab meat
  • 1 T Bread crumbs
  • 1 T Onions, minced
  • 1 T Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 t Salt
  • 2 T Parsley, minced
  • 12 Mushroom stems, chopped fine
  • 12 Mushroom caps
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • Louisiana hot sauce, to tast

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix crab meat, bread crumbs, onions, cheese, salt, parsley, and chopped mushroom stems.
  2. Add beaten egg and hot sauce, to taste.
  3. Stuff mixture into mushroom caps.
  4. Bake at 300 degrees until tender, 15 to 30 minutes.
  5. Serve hot
