Green-Bean Salad Recipe

Such a simple to make fresh green bean salad. The fresh green beens really make this taste best

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Green Beans; Fresh cut lengthwise
  • Boiling Salted Water
  • 3 T Vinegar
  • 3 T Vegetable Oil
  • 2 ea Onions; Med., Thinly Sliced
  • 1/2 t Dried Dillseed
  • 1 t Sugar

Directions

  1. Cook beans in boiling salted water until just tender
  2. Reserve 1/4 cup of the cooking liquid and drain off the rest
  3. Prepare sauce by combining vinegar, oil, reserved vegetable stock, onions, dill, and sugar; stir until blended
  4. Pour mixture over beans; marinate several hours before serving.
