Fresh Asparagus Recipe

Just a little help for those of you looking to see how to best cook asparagus

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Asparagus; Fresh, Any Color
  • 1/4 c Butter
  • 3 T Parmesan Cheese; Grated
  • 1 Large Hard Boiled Egg

Directions

  1. Wash asparagus spears and trim off tough ends
  2. Place asparagus in boiling salted water and cook until tender, 7 to 10 minutes
  3. Drain off liquid
  4. In a small saucepan, melt the butter, cook over low heat until lightly browned
  5. Sprinkle freshly grated cheese over butter and mix
  6. Spoon over asparagus
  7. Garnish with sliced hard boiled egg.
