Brussels Sprouts In Beer Recipe

Fresh brussel sprout recipe, and a nice use for beer if I might add!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels Sprouts; Fresh
  • 1 Beer; Any Brand, To Cover
  • 1/2 t Salt
  • 2 T Butter

Directions

  1. Trim and wash sprouts
  2. Place in a medium-size saucepan and pour enough beer over them to cover
  3. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until tender
  4. Add more beer if needed, as liquid evaporates
  5. Drain; add salt and butter
  6. Serve hot.
