Best Mac & Cheese Recipe
Creamiest mac & cheese. All homemade and simple to prepare. One pot preperation saves cleanup. They will never want the box stuff again.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ziti, rigatoni or large elbows
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter
- 12 ounces sour cream
- 8-10 ounces shredded sharp cheddar
Directions
- boil pasta according to package directions, drain.
- in same pot, over medium heat, melt margarine
- add sour cream and stir until thouroughly heated and mixed with margarine.
- add cheese in three parts, stirring thouroughly to melt the cheese and mix with the sour cream - margarine
- cook and stir constantly until mixture is thouroughly melted and creamy.
- remove from heat and add drained macaroni.
- stir well to coat macaroni and serve.
- serve with hot dogs, hamburgs, smoked sausage, etc.
- recipe can be doubled for larger crowds.
