Tuna and Avocado Salad Recipe

Great tuna salad recipe for those tired of the plain old tuna, mayo, pickle juice recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Large hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 t hot sauce
  • 1 c Avocado, mashed
  • 1/2 c Onion, chopped
  • 1 6 1/2 oz can tuna (in water)
  • 2 T Mayonnaise (maybe 3 Tbs)
  • 2 T Dill relish
  • 1 Fresh lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Peel eggs and mash real well with a regular dinner fork (more or less mince them)
  2. Peel avocado and squeeze 1/2 lemon on it to keep from discoloring
  3. Then mash real well with fork
  4. Mix these two ingredients real well
  5. Drain water from tuna and mix with onions, eggs, avocado, dill pickles or relish, salt, hot sauce, and mayonnaise
  6. Serve over lettuce.
