Praline Cheesecake Recipe

Another great cheesecake recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 C Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 3 T Sugar
  • 3 T Margarine, Melted
  • 24 oz Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 3/4 c Dark Brown Sugar, Packed
  • 2 T Unbleached All-purpose Flour
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 2 t Vanilla
  • 1/2 c Pecans, Finely Chopped
  • Maple Syrup
  • Pecan Halves

Directions

  1. Combine crumbs, granulated sugar and margarine; press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan
  2. Bake at 350F for 10 minutes
  3. Combine cream cheese, brown sugar and flour, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition
  5. Blend in vanilla; stir in chopped pecans
  6. Pour over crust
  7. Bake at 450F for 10 minutes
  8. Reduce oven temperature to 250 F, and continue baking an additional 30 minutes
  9. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan, then chill
  10. Brush with maple syrup and top with pecan halves as desired
