Applesauce Cake Recipe

Ingredients

• 1/2 c Butter
• 1 c Sugar
• 1 ea Egg, beaten lightly
• 1 3/4 c Cake flour
• 1 c Raisins
• 1 c Nutmeats
• 1 t Baking soda
• 1/4 t Salt
• 1 t Cinnamon
• 1/2 t Cloves
• 1 c Applesauce, hot

Directions

1. Cream butter and sugar, add egg
2. Stir in dry ingredients
3. Add hot applesauce
4. Bake in 350 degree oven about 1 hr and 15 mins or until toothpick comes out clean
