Venison and baby portabella stroganoff Recipe

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs venison
- 1/2 lb baby portabellas
- 1 med. onion (minced)
- 1/4 cup oil (olive,veg.,or peanut)
- 1/2 cup red whine
- 1/2 cup stock (venison or beef)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- pepper (to taste)
- salt (to taste)
- paprika (to taste)
- 2 tbsp finely chopped dill
- flour (for dusting)
- 1 12 0z bag of egg noodles
Directions
- Dust venison with flour and shake off excess.
- Heat oil in a large sauce pan. When hot, add venison and onion.
- When venison is browned add dill, mushrooms, and paprika. Stir frequently for 2 minutes.
- Add the red whine and stock. Bring to a hard boil and then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Boil egg noodles in a large pot.
- Add sour cream to the stroganoff and allow to heat through.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve stroganoff over a bed of egg noodles.
