Savory Crock Pot Sirloin Tip Roast Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 3-4 lb. Sirloin Tip Roast
- All Purpose Flour (to cover roast)
- 3-4 tbs. Vegetable Oil
- approx. one fork full Minced Garlic
- Salt and Pepper to cover roast
- Garlic salt to cover roast
- 5-6 med. Red Potatoes cut into 1-2 in. pieces
- 1/2 small bag baby carrots
- 1 1/2 c. of water
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes
- (optional) 3/4 c. boiling water
Directions
- Roll the roast in the flour until it is completely covered.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper, and garlic salt all over the roast. Make sure to season all sides. (The more pepper the better).
- Heat oil and minced garlic in large skillet on medium heat.
- Once oil is hot, brown all sides of the roast. Brown sides evenly. Add more flour to spots where flour has wore off due to touching the roast.
- Once all sides have been browned, place roast directly into crock pot.
- Pour the remaining oil into the crock pot. Pour over the top of the roast. Do not rinse skillet afterwards.
- Return skillet to stove and add water and bouillon cubes. Bring to a boil.
- Remove skillet from heat and pour juice over roast.
- Cook on low in crock pot for 9 hrs or on high for 5 hrs. If water level in crock pot becomes extremely low, add 3/4 cup boiling water.
- Add potatoes and baby carrots about 1 1/2 hours before roast is finished.
- Cook until potatoes and carrots reach desired tenderness.
