Dee's Butter Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 1/4 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 stick cold butter
- 1 bag semi sweet mini choc. chips
Directions
- Using food processor with mixing blade, add dry ingredients and whirl 10 seconds.
- Cut butter into 1/2 inch pieces and add to processor. Whirl 30 seconds or so til everything is blended and you have a very soft dough
- Pick up about a heaping teaspoonful and roll quickly into a ball shape.
- Press onto an ungreased cookie sheet to about 1/2-1/3 inch thick, leaving about an inch between cookies.
- Repeat until the sheet is filled. (You'll probably use 2 sheets)
- Bake in a pre-heated 350 oven for about 8 minutes or till cookie edges are lightly brown.
- Remove from oven and while still hot (centers will be soft), sprinkle 4-6 chips on each cookie and press in lightly.
- Remove from sheets after cookies are cool. They are somewhat delicate so handle gently
- This recipe makes about 16-20 cookies. Recipe can be doubled and doubled again but its advisable only to bake 2 sheets at a time.
- Wait till sheets cool before baking another batch OR cover dough and store in refrigerator up to 3 days
