Homemade Pizza Recipe

Ingredients
- 3 to 4 cups flour
- 1 pkg. Rapid rise yeast
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 cup very warm water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 16oz shredded mozzarella
- pepperoni
- 1 large can mushrooms drained
Directions
- Put 2 cups flour into bowl.
- Add the yeast, oil, salt and water.
- mix well.
- Add just enough of the extra flour to make the dough easy to knead.
- Knead till smooth, not very long. Will be better if left a little sticky.
- Place into a greased bowl and cover with a dry towel.
- Let sit for 10 minutes in a warm place.
- Meanwhile, Put the tomato sauce, oregano, garlic powder and 1 tsp salt into a small pan.
- Heat to a low simmer.
- When Dough is ready, spead onto a cookie sheet that has been well sprayed with cooking oil.
- Leave a half inch around the edges of the pan.
- Pour on your tomato sauce mixture and spead evenly around.
- Top with mushrooms and pepperoni (at this point you can add any toppings you would like)
- Cover that with the mozzerella.
- Take the butter and put small slices of it all around the edges of the pan. Bake 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Till crust is golden brown.
