Baked Tomatoes Recipe

Make this tomato recipe with fresh picked tomatos for the best results. Be careful when digging in, these retain heat and will burn your mouth (ouch!).

Ingredients

  • 2 ea Good sized plum tomatoes
  • 1 ea Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 ea Fine bread crumbs
  • 1 ea Dried thyme

Directions

  1. Cut each tomato in half and arrange cut side up on a baking dish
  2. Sprinkle each half lightly with bread crumbs, parmesan cheese and thyme
  3. Bake until tops are slightly browned in a 300F oven (15 to 20 minutes)
