Grandma's Persimmon Puddding Recipe
Wonderful if made from the pulp of the wild persimmon. I purchase my pulp from Melton's Orchard 812-825-2737 They will ship it anywhere overnight air.

Ingredients
- 2 cups persimmon pulp
- 2 eggs beaten
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1 cup half and half
- 1 tsp baking soda
- dash of cinnamon
Directions
- Combine persimmon pulp, sugar, eggs cream and buttermilk.
- Mix flour, baking powder and baking soda and add to persimmon mixture.
- Use some of the melted butter to coat a 9x13 baking pan.
- Stir remaining butter into persimmon mixture.
- Stir in cinnamon and mix well.
- Pour into baking pan
- Bake 325 degrees for about 60 minutes.
